Balboa Fun Zone - Guadalupe + David Engaged - 7.26.09

Man oh man was the beach area crowded on this Sunday. I guess it's all those kids on summer break and the great weather. These two are really down to earth and such a joy to work with. We started at the Balboa Fun Zone. We started at the ferris wheel. The ferry was right next to it and lines of people and cars just lining up to be next to take the ferry to Balboa Island. We were able to squeeze our way to take a couple of shots of another angle of the ferris wheel. I kneeled down to avoid getting so many people that were in line in the background.




We made our way to the arcade and these two got a little cozy in the photo booth =)

the blue rustic doors in the background make for a great match to one of their wedding colors.

the skies played with us the whole time with the sun peeking in and out of the clouds. i actually didn't mind it too much. the clouds gave us some great dramatic look to the photos.




we found some cool bulldozers on the beach that were used to pile high the sand for the high tides.
